End of a Road Trip

Granny and I made it home from California Monday afternoon. The Pasadena Fly Fishing Show was yet another good one and the minute it ended at 4:30 PM Sunday afternoon Granny and I pointed the Explorer towards Idaho and took off. Our only stop was a three hour nap around St. George, Utah.

Since then it’s been playing catch up. Mail, email, bills, shoveling and etc., its terribly time consuming. Today I’m finally caught up yet rather then wet a line it’s prepare for Canada to speak at the Chinook Waters Fly Fishing Conclave in Lethbridge, Alberta. So I’ll be traveling yet again Friday through Sunday, but I’ve said it before, I love this stuff. And hanging with the Canadians will be a hoot!

I know, the “Currier” blog has been far from the usual entertaining fishing blog this winter, but the heap of speaking engagements has been a blessing. AND, just for your information – the blog gets back on track starting March 19th. It’s off to the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador with my good friend Sammy Vigneri. Sammy is my Baja rooster-fishing buddy, often featured on the blog. However this time we are targeting striped marlin on the fly with another friend of mine, Jake Jordan. The blog will get good again here soon – I promise!

Here are a few photos from the California tour.

  3. Nice fishing blog...
Peacock bass Fishing Venezuela this week was off the charts once again in the Baja East Cape fishing. It was really a typical East Cape Baja Fishing week, with lots of species, quanity, but nothing giant to report.
